Agracom was established in 1981 and is now one of the most substantial grain marketing and commodity trading businesses in eastern Australia.
The company remains privately owned and is managed by highly experienced industry participants with extensive international and domestic commodity trading backgrounds.
Since deregulation of the Australian grain industry, Agracom’s export business has expanded significantly and now represents a major part of the company’s operations. The export operations are focused on containerised wheat and other grains to south east Asia and east Asia.
In January 2023, the Agracom business acquired a local grain storage facility at Borambil, Quirindi. This facility has been operating and servicing growers on the Liverpool Plains and grain customers for more than five decades.
